With a bit of luck
A duck
Will come into your life.
When you are at the peak
Of your great powers
And your achievement towers
Like a smoking chimney stack.
There’ll be a quack,
And right at your feet,
A little duck will stand.
She will take you by the hand
And lead you,
Like a child with no defence;
She will lead you
Into wisdom, joy and innocence.
That little duck.
We wish you luck.
–Michael Leunig
Behold the duck It does not cluck. A cluck it lacks. It quacks. It is specially fond. Of a puddle or
pond. When it dines or sups, It bottoms ups. The Duck - Ogden Nash
DUCKS
Ducks are strange animals.
The way they squat and squabble.
Sometimes they talk to you as if you understand what they are saying...
And sometimes they are right.
-Bill Murphy
Duck
Duck in the water, quack, quack, quack! Soft, white feathers on your back, back, back! Duck
in the water, splash and splish! Dip in your bill and catch those fish!
Duck out of water, walk on land. Your webbed feet make it hard to stand! Waddle with your
family, waddle in a pack. Duck out of water, quack, quack, quack!
Meish Goldish
Ducks
Ducks are lucky Don't you think? When they want to Take a drink, All they do is Duck
their bill. (Doesn't matter If they spill.) When they want to Take a swim, All they do is Dive right in; And
they never Seem to sink. Ducks are lucky, Don't you think?
